Keith Foskey is the pastor of Sovereign Grace Family Church. He is also been a martial arts student for over 20 years. He began the martial arts club at SGFC as a way to reach the community and provide quality and affordable training to the community. This program is funded by donations only and all instructors give their time voluntarily. Students are encouraged to give a small donation every month, but no one is required to give. The goal is that anyone, regardless of income, can experience the benefits of martial arts training.

BECOMING AN FMA CLUB MEMBER

New club members must be accepted into the class by Sensei Foskey after an initial 2-week evaluation. At least one parent/guardian must complete a liability waiver. Generally the youngest age to join is 6, however the instructors will sometimes make exceptions for 5 year olds who demonstrate a genuine desire to learn.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
We do not charge membership fees, however we do encourage donations to the program. All donations are managed by the SGFC treasurer and are used to purchase class equipment, instructor materials and sometimes items needed for other ministries in the church.

BELT TESTING FEES
There are testing fees for belt tests ($25). We require a minimum of 6mo time-in-grade between belts. Stripes are awarded between belts at no charge.

UNIFORMS
A Foskey Martial Arts T-Shirt and short combo set is available for purchase for only $10. Once a student earns a belt, a full uniform (Gi) may be purchased, but the shirt/short combo will be the primary training uniform.
